Trinity or Trinity knot:
Eternity, spirituality and the connection between generations.
It is one of the oldest forms of Celtic knotwork, first appearing on carved stone monuments, woodwork, jewelry, and other decorative arts. The Celts believed it to represent the three stages of life - youth, adulthood, and old age - and many others have interpreted it as the maiden, the mother, and the companion.
After Christianity came, the Trinity knot came to symbolize the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
Celtic Knot for Love: The Trinity Knot is often used to represent the bond of love between two people.
